My Computers - Sorkdator Mk II

Sorkdator

Sorkdator (the girlfriend's main computer) is one of the "newer" aquisitions, although the computer itself is not new. In fact it's rather old... Furthermore, it consists of parts from the burned Chrome. I keep it only because it has some rare ISA-ports which are able to hold that special SCSI-scanner controller card. No other reason really. Except for gaming...

Background

Chrome's mobo and PSU burned. That's a fact. All other components were ok. SO I got a new NoName 300W AMD-certified PSU and a new similar mobo, a Chaintech CT-7ATA. So far all is running fine. 8-)

Sorkdator Mk II (2004-09-12)

As I exchanged the mobo on Chrome, I moved the MSI-board from Chrome to Sorkdator instead. Nothing fancy really. It just works... What else could you with for? 8-)
